bike ops
Coming to Mac this fall? Bring your bicycle.
OPIRG McMaster will show you trails, even provide you with cycling and waterfall maps to help you explore the city sustainably.
There are two bike repair workshops, one on campus (MacCycle) and one off campus (Recycle Cycles) so you can tune up your bike, or purchase an inexpensive used bike to use during the school terms.
September is also time to celebrate Car Free Week in Hamilton, with guided bicycle tours, hikes, films, and street parties organized by OPIRG's Transportation for Liveable Communities (TLC) working group.
If you want to have a role in organizing Car Free events, or would like to volunteer with Recycle Cycles, contact OPIRG's volunteer coordinator at randy(at)opirg(dot)ca to get involved.
People like Paul Uy (pictured) have done it all. You can too: be a part of the good life at OPIRG McMaster.
