Environment Hamilton is looking for summer interns to help with several projects. Positions are available with the following projects:

  • TreesCount - an urban tree inventory project involving community volunteers
  • Eat Local/ Farm Fresh! - a project focused on promoting locally grown food and Ontario's Greenbelt.
  • Transit Boosters - a project focused on promoting public transit use in Hamilton's urban core.
  • Climate Change Challenge - a project focused on encouraging people to make personal lifestyle changes to reduce their contributions to the climate change problem.

These are federal government funded summer employment opportunities. In order to be eligible, you must be 35 years old or younger and returning to school full-time in September.

These are full-time positions ranging from 11 to 13 weeks in length. Hourly rate of pay is $12.
