Environmental Bill of Rights Workshop

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Ontario’s Environmental Bill of Rights!!
Did you know that Ontario has an Environmental Bill of Rights (EBR)?

The EBR arms every resident of Ontario with rights that enable them to enhance and protect the environment around them.

This workshop will teach you about:
1. Your rights under the Environmental Bill of Rights and how you can use those rights

2. How the Environmental Bill of Rights has been successfully used in Hamilton to protect the environment

Workshop attendees will also be provided with resources they can take away with them to learn more about the EBR.

Speakers include:
Ellen Schwartzel – Deputy Commissioner, Office of the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario
Lynda Lukasik, Environment Hamilton

WHEN: Wednesday, November 5th
WHERE: Hamilton Public Library (Central branch).
TIME: 7-9pm
