Making Connections with Robyn Ocean

Robyn Ocean is coordinating the 2015 Making Connections: OPIRG's Social Justice and Environment week. The theme this year is "Put the Social back in Social Justice". BOOM!

"Life is for the living and we can find ways to enjoy and revel in each moment. Being happy is a great thorn in the side of industrial capitalism. Our own bodies, mental space and emotional well being are great sites of resistance. These are the places that we can make the most change because it is within our hands and hearts. Of course acknowledging power and privilege, some have more access to the resources necessary to make changes. Working in solidarity and building relationships as allies, as survivors, as activists, we can support the liberation of all.

We hope to see you at this year's Making Connections events that will engage topics such as colonization, body acceptance, food security, WOMEN and more."
