Meet our Garden Coordinator

Hello! My name is Bohmee, and I am the Junior Coordinator for the OPIRG McMaster Community Garden. As the Junior Coordinator, I work to ensure that the garden is not only thriving in the soil but also socially and financially. This means that when I am not in the garden, I do a lot of administrative work, such as collaborating with various McMaster groups to come up with events that promote food security and sustainability, applying for funding, and ensuring that the garden committee and volunteers have access to the resources they need.Please feel free to reach out to me at communitygarden@opirgmcmaster.ca if you have any questions about the garden or want to get involved! Currently, I am going into my third year of the Arts and Science program at McMaster. When I am not working in the garden, you can find me biking around Hamilton, cooking and snacking in my kitchen, or taking photos of trees.
