Nature @ McMaster - Millers Grove Invasive Species Removal
OPIRG McMaster is proud to be supporting Nature @ McMaster with their upcoming event:
This Spring / Summer, McMaster Outdoor Rec along with various campus and community partners will be restoring a plot of forest by the Ravine Road Trailhead and making it into an outdoor classroom and picnic area. We will be working to remove much of the invasive species that litter the area currently so that the native plants that will be put in through the summer have a better chance of surviving ! We will be on our hands and knees removing buckthorn, invasive grasses and the dreaded garlic mustard.
