OPIRG is an integral contributor to the McMaster community’s ability to provide meaningful hands-on volunteer opportunities for students. Since 1995, we have been helping students become engaged citizens, developing research and advocacy skills in the service of the public good. Check us out!

OPIRG’s core funding comes from full-tim undergrads in the form of a $7.83 refundable levy. If you do not wish to support the work of OPIRG McMaster, you can claim a full refund once your student status is finalized, in the three weeks following the drop and add period in September. Bring your student card to the OPIRG Resource Centre (MUSC 229) during our business hours and OPIRG will mail a refund cheque to your address.
