Documentary Film Screening presented by the Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) McMaster and the African Caribbean Faculty Association of McMaster (ACFAM)
Thomas Sankara, former president of Burkina Faso was known as "the African Che" and became famous in Africa due to his innovative ideas, his devastating humour, his spirit and his altruism.
Donations accepted to Griffin House.  Now a national historic site, Griffin House was built in 1827 and purchased in 1834 by Enerals and Priscilla Griffin, after their escape from slavery in the United States.
