Ride A Social Bike For Free!
Come celebrate spring and the release of hundreds of bikes into the wilds of Hamilton!
Saturday, March 21 at 10 AM there will be a huge community bike ride from 126 Catharine North (The Seedworks building, formerly Tregunno Seeds) to wherever you want in the bike share service area . Bound to be good times plus it helps the broke-ass not-for-profit that employs yours truly to get bikes out without using a truck.
All participants of the ride get unlimited free access to the SoBis for the entire weekend. This is a great chance to try out the bike share system (for free) if you haven't already. Make sure you register in advance (even if you are already a member)!
I'm biased but I honestly think the SoBis are super fun to ride and very convenient for taking one-way trips and getting around the city. Another tool for getting around, exploring and connecting with our urban jungle, and building healthier alternatives that move us away from fossil fuel dependent death machines (aka Babylon car culture). Come take a spin, bring your family and friends, and spread the word.
