writing opportunity

Are you looking to put your creative works in print? Are you interested in promoting dialogue and inquiry? Would you like a chance to join an emerging independent publication?

My name is Graham Engel, co-founder of Highbrau Magazine, an independent publication based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont.. We look to promote inquiry and expression related to the themes of our upcoming issues, and are interested in most anything as long as it is in some way related to the theme.

Issue #6 is on the subject "Love and Struggle". We are interested in submissions in some way related to the idea, in any creative format. We are looking for argumentative and expressive essays; for fiction; for poetry, interviews, and expressions of dreams. We are also looking for black and white art and photography, comic strips, and cartoons, and any other visual contributions fit for print.

All submissions will be considered, and a selection related to the theme will be put into print. All those who submit will receive print and electronic copies of their work, and full credit will be stated in the magazine.
