FACELESS DOLLS BRING AWARENESS

A powerful way to bring awareness to a terrible reality, OPIRG's McMaster Indigenous Student Community Alliance (MISCA) set up in the student centre yesterday to teach people how to make Faceless Dolls. This act of creating was accompanied by information about missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada.

Roughly 30 dolls were made yesterday, and MISCA intends to create 1,000 dolls as a reminder that action needs to be taken to stop this terrible national tragedy. Find out more about MISCA and OPIRG's other volunteer working groups at http://www.opirg.ca/groups
