The Oil Man & The Sea: Navigating the Northern Gateway

Hello Environmental Defenders!
With support from OPIRG McMaster & the City of Hamilton, this coming Thursday June 5th @ 7pm @ the Lawn Bowling Cluhbhouse in Churchill Park we are hosting an evening with author Arno Kopecky & his book, "The Oil Man & The Sea: Navigating the Northern Gateway".

Communal and governmental accounts in his book expose situations facing the Great Bear Rainforest and (human and non human) communities a long the proposed Northern Gateway Pipelines and shipping routes in B.C.

Despite heavy discussion, Arno has a sense of humour matched with realism....as noted in interviews and book reviews:

I contacted Kopecky after finishing his book~ he responded sharing that he would soon be in Ontario. So we set up another stop, and we hope you can make it out this Thursday night to show support in Canada's Oil Pipeline Debates.

Contact us if you have any questions or inquires and please share this news within your networks!

Thank you kindly,
