Working Group Highlights from Year End: Part Three: UNITED IN COLOR

A new working group formed in second term, UIC got busy fast. Here's some of their highlights from one semester of activity:

-providing a safe environment for self identified people of colour where they can engage in discussions about their own experiences
-exploring coping mechanisms to combat the pervasiveness of racism in culture and promote positive self esteem
-educating ourselves and others about racism and how race intersects with other forms of oppression such as sexism, clasism, ableism, heteronormativity, and so forth.
